Admissions Checklist

SCHEDULE A TOUR

Visiting our campus is the best way to get to know who we are and what we have to offer you.  To set up your campus tour appointment, call our Office of Admissions at (888) 985-8483.

APPLY ONLINE

The online application is free!  For programs offering early action, application review begins in the fall on applications completed by November 1.  Regular admission begins January 15 and continues on a rolling basis until programs are full. Completed applications contain all required documents, transcripts, and test scores.

FILL OUT YOUR FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid should be filled out online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Using the online application will expedite your financial aid package by several weeks.  If you need personalized attention, call our Office of Financial Aid at (888) 985-8267.

VIRGINIA RESIDENTS

Apply for VTAG.  The Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant is available for Virginia residents who choose to attend one of Virginia’s private colleges.

SUBMIT YOUR DEPOSIT

All of our programs are competitive and fill quickly.  Acceptance does not guarantee a seat in your program.  You must submit the deposit to reserve your seat.

REGISTER FOR CLASSES

By this time, you will know who your advisor is and what courses your program of study requires.  You must meet with your advisor to register and secure a seat in your first choice of classes.

FILL OUT THE HEALTH HISTORY PACKET

All students who work in clinical sites with direct patient care must fill out the Health History packet.  For information, call our Office of Student Affairs at (540) 985-8395.

ORIENTATION

Attending Orientation is one of the best ways to ensure that you get started on the right foot.  Orientation sessions teach time management, study skills, and familiarize you with campus and clinical settings.
