Ms. Carol Bailey is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Jefferson College. She completed her master’s degree from the University of Virginia with a focus in medical surgical nursing and administration. As a registered nurse, Ms. Bailey has worked as a staff nurse in acute and critical care, a nurse manager, an education consultant, and a nurse educator. She has taught in both classroom and clinical settings primarily in the areas of oncology, pulmonary, and cardiovascular nursing. She has provided service to Jefferson College by active participation and leadership in academic policies committee and curriculum committee. Ms. Bailey is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing practice at Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests include predictors of success in a bachelor of science in nursing program and nursing program evaluation.
