Carol currently teaches 12 Lead ECG interpretation at Jefferson College of Health Sciences. Carol received a diploma in nursing from the Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. She earned her undergraduate degree at Radford University and her Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia. Carol is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Case Western Reserve University. Carol has over 30 years of nursing experience in acute and critical care with a focus on cardiovascular and pulmonary patients. She has worked as a staff nurse, a nurse manager, and a nurse educator. She is employed full-time as an Education Consultant with Carilion Corporate University and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society for Nursing, the American Nurses Association, the Society of Vascular Nurses and the American Society for Training and Development.
