Katie Winters has been the Disability Coordinator at Jefferson College of Health Sciences since February of 2014. Ms. Winters oversees all of the classroom, testing, and clinical accommodations provided by the college. Before joining the Jefferson College team, Katie taught in both the elementary and middle school settings, and earned her QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) license. She has also worked as an employment consultant, mental health clinician, and mental health case manager. Katie earned both her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and Master’s degree in Special Education: General curriculum from Radford University. Committee’s that Katie currently serves on at JCHS are the Grant Committee, The Safe Team, ISLOC, and the Safety Committee.
