Dr. Stuart Tousman is a Professor of Psychology at Jefferson College. He has taught courses in research methods, statistics, and behavior change and currently teaches learning and memory. He develops and implements curricula that are learner-centered, and attempts to keep students active in the learning process. His research is in asthma self-management and he is the chair of the Virginia Asthma Coalition. He provides service to Jefferson as the Chair of the Institutional Learning Outcome Committee (ISLOC) and also serves on faculty senate. Prior to joining Jefferson College, Stuart was a tenured professor of psychology at Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois.
