Date:
Thursday, March 30, 2017 - 8:00am to Sunday, April 2, 2017 - 5:00pm

For the second year, Jefferson College Occupational Therapy Students attended the national American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Conference. This year, the conference was in Philadelphia, PA and took place from March 30 through April 2, 2017.

This year celebrates the 100 anniversary of the founding of Occupational Therapy as a profession. Picture cutouts of the founders were there so people could be photographed with them. The AOTA Conference estimates that the event drew 14,000 attendees—the largest OT conference to date! OT faculty member Jason Browning was a speaker in one of the sessions, as well as presented a poster from his continuing work on his Ph.D.
