A Taste of Jefferson

A Taste of Jefferson is an event that celebrates cultural diversity through a culinary and educational adventure around the college. Program and departments around the college choose a country, offers food that represents that country and decorate their spaces accordingly. Students receive "passports" and go around to each location sampling the food and getting their passports stamped.

Participants also get to vote for their favorite! The students love this event!

The countries represented in this year's event were Tahiti, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, China, America, Kenya, Australia, India, Lebanon, Switzerland, Japan and Greece.

And the 2016 Taste of Jefferson winners are...
  • 1st Place:  Mexico (Student Affairs)
  • 2nd Place (TIE):  Tahiti (Academic Technology, Institutional Research, and IPE) & Lebanon (Surgical Technology)
  • 3rd Place:  Greece (Nursing)
