  1. Where can I find the links to resources that were previously on the One Jefferson page on the old website?
    Students can find those links by choosing Students in the black menu bar at the top of any page on the website; faculty and staff can find those links by selecting Faculty & Staff from the same black menu bar. Students will find links on their page to their e-mail, Blackboard, Self-Service Health Records, Background Checks, The Student Handbook and more! Faculty and Staff will find links to their e-mail, Blackboard, the JCHS Intranet, Self-Service, Activity Insight and more!
     
  2. How can I submit feedback about or report a problem with the website?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the mid-point of the page. There, you’ll find a blue box on the right hand side of your screen. At the moment, the e-mail address for Mark Lambert is listed there (malambert@jchs.edu). Soon, that will become webmaster@jchs.edu and will be directed to a mailbox that our web development team at JCHS will all have access to. This will ensure your issue receives a quick and thorough response.
     
  3. Where can I find event galleries and snapshots with pictures from JCHS events?
    On any page of the website, choose News and Events from the light blue menu bard just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. In the drop down menu, you’ll click on Event Galleries. This will take you to a page with links to online galleries of photos.
     
  4. Where can I find a calendar with information about JCHS and alumni events?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you will see an abbreviated selection of upcoming events at JCHS. To see more upcoming events, click on the Read more link below the listed events.
     
  5. Where can I find the academic calendar?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on the Read more link, which will take you to the Calendar page on the website. Initially, you will see types of events listed on this page, including academic events, alumni events and general college events. To narrow what you see to one of these categories, click on the drop down menu box that says – Any - and choose the type of events you’d like to see. Only those types of events will now appear on the Calendar page for you. To see another type of event, just follow the steps above and choose the other type of event you’d like to see from the drop down box.
     
  6. How can I search the website?
    You can search the website by scrolling over the magnifying glass at the top of any page on the site. A search box will appear beside that icon into which you can type the information you’re looking for.
     
  7. Where can I find a list of degree, certificate and continuing education programs offered by JCHS?
    You can find a complete list of the degree, certificate and continuing education programs offered at JCHS by choosing Academics from the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. In the drop down menu, you’ll click on Degree Programs. On the Degree Programs page, you’ll find links to all of the pages for academic programs offered at the College.
     
  8. Where can I access the current and past editions of the JCHS Catalog?
    You can find a complete list of the degree, certificate and continuing education programs offered at JCHS by choosing Academics from the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. In the drop down menu, you’ll click on JCHS Catalog. In addition to the current Catalog, you’ll find the JCHS Catalog archive with links to Catalogs from previous years on this page.
     
  9. Where can I find contact information for the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and the Registrar?
    You can find contact information for the Office of Admission by clicking on Admissions in the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page, then Undergraduate Admissions, and then Contact Us.

    You can find a searchable faculty and staff directory by choosing Faculty & Staff from the black menu bar at the top of any page on the site. Then, choose Directory. On the Directory page, you can search the listing by name or department/area.

    You can find the JCHS Bookstore online by clicking on Campus Life in the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page, then Bookstore.
     
  12. Where can I find information about student life and activities on the website?
    You can find information about student life and activities on campus by clicking on Campus Life in the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. On the Campus Life page, you‘ll find links to residence life, academic support services, counseling & wellness, campus safety, the JCHS VOICE (Violence.Can.End.) Program; clubs & organizations, the Fitness Center, the current Student Handbook and new student orientation.
     
  13. Where can I find publicity information about media coverage of JCHS?
    You can find publicity information about JCHS media coverage by clicking on News and Events in the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page, and then JCHS in the News. Also under News & Events, you’ll find links to JCHS Press Releases, which offer you an insight into the news we are sharing with the regional media.
     
  14. Where can I find JCHS publications online?
    You can find links to JCHS publications online by clicking on News and Events in the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. In the drop down menu, you’ll find links to our college magazine by choosing Jefferson Chronicle. You can download issues of the JCHS student newsletter under News and Events by selecting Paw Print.
     
  15. Where can I find maps and directions to JCHS?
    You can find maps and directions to JCHS by choosing About from the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. In the drop down menu, you’ll click on Maps and Directions to see a continually updated Google Map of JCHS and the surrounding area. You can even use Google Map to plot directions from your current location to campus by clicking on Use Google Map at the bottom of the page. Written directions to the JCHS campus are available by choosing Directions to Jefferson College of Health Sciences from the left hand Go to: menu.

    To learn more about the JCHS Board of Directors, choose About in the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page, then Board of Directors.

  18. How can I sign on or sign up for the JCHS e2 Campus Emergency Alert System?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you will see an e2 Campus icon. Click on that icon to go to the e2 Campus website where you can sign up or log in. You can also reach e2 Campus by choosing Campus Life from the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page, then Campus Safety, and then e2 Campus.
     
  19. How will I know about weather and other emergency related delays or closures at JCHS?
    If you are signed up for the e2 Campus Emergency Alert System, you will receive e-mails, text messages or both indicating a delay or closure. Additionally, any delay or closure will appear in a red bar at the top of every page on the new website. So, it doesn’t matter where you come into the new JCHS website—you should see the message at the top of your screen. Finally, delays and closures are reported by select local media. Check local television and radio stations for those announcements when appropriate.

    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you will see an icon entitled Student Background Checks. Click on that icon to be directed to the site where you can complete this check.
     
  21. How can I donate to JCHS securely online?
    You can donate to JCHS securely online by choosing Giving from the black menu bar at the top of any page on the site. On the Giving page, you can learn more about ways you can support JCHS, the scholarships we offer our students and the JCHS Foundation, which funds many of those scholarships. You can then select Give Online to securely donate.
     
  22. How can someone request a tour of the JCHS campus?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the mid-point of the page. On the right hand side of your screen are links under a light blue bar that reads Contact. Choose Schedule a Tour to request a tour of the JCHS campus by the Office of Admissions.
     
  23. Where can I find information for JCHS alumni?
    You can find information specifically for alumni by choosing Alumni from the black menu bar at the top of any page on the site. On the Alumni page, you’ll find links to information about our Alumni Association, our college magazine the Jefferson Chronicle and a resource to order your transcripts from JCHS.
     
  24. How can a prospective student apply online through the website?
    The easiest way for a prospective student to apply to JCHS is by scrolling down the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the mid-point of the page. On the right hand side of your screen are links under a light blue bar that reads Contact. Choose Apply Online to go to our secure online application page in Self-Service. By making this page secure, we ensure that your information is protected and kept confidential.

    In addition, you can get to the online application page by choosing Admissions from the light blue menu bar just below the JCHS logo at the top of the page. On the Admissions page, you can choose Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional and Continuing Education, based on the program you would like to apply for. On each of these pages, choose The Application Process and then Apply Online.
     
  25. How can a prospective student estimate what types of scholarships they may receive at JCHS?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the mid-point of the page. On the right hand side of your screen are links under a light blue bar that reads Contact. Choose Scholarship Calculator. On the Scholarship Calculator page, a prospective student can enter their information into a form, which can be submitted on the page, and receive an estimated scholarship amount from JCHS.
     
  26. How can a prospective student request more information about JCHS?
    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the mid-point of the page. On the right hand side of your screen are links under a light blue bar that reads Contact. Choose Send me more info. The prospective student can complete a form securely in Self-Service to receive more information from the JCHS Office of Admissions.

    On the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu, scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you will see icons in the dark grey bar for Twitter, Facebook and Linked In. Click on an icon to visit the respective sites.

    A site map of the new JCHS website is available by scrolling down to the bottom of the JCHS homepage at www.jchs.edu. In the black bard at the bottom of the page, choose Site Map.
