What is New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation (NSO) offers students the opportunity to attend sessions on specific subjects and discuss academic programs offered at Jefferson College of Health Sciences (JCHS) with faculty and staff members as well as the Jefferson College administration. Presentations will be made on: Dollars and Sense, Safety, Academics, Distance Learning/College E-mail System, and Self-defense. Students will also receive their I.D. badges and parking permit at NSO.
Who will be there?
Each session offers you an opportunity to meet with other Jefferson College students, as well as faculty, staff and administrators and listen to brief presentations on topics of interest to new students.
How do I register for New Student Orientation?
Once you have been accepted to JCHS, a letter will be mailed to you regarding the new student orientation. You will need to call Linda Weary at (540) 985-8395 or 1-888-985-8395 to register.
