On-Campus Housing

Jefferson College of Health Sciences offers on-campus housing, however, because of the high demand we cannot guarantee on-campus housing for students after their first year. Students who do live on-campus enjoy the amenities of living near classrooms and local clinical sites and the convenience of living in Downtown Roanoke.
Students who live on-campus receive a Residence Life Handbook, which offers information relating to the rules and regulations of on-campus housing. There is a resident assistant assigned to each wing of the residence halls, and there is always someone on-duty to assist residents.
If you live outside the Roanoke area we encourage you to fill out the Housing Application as soon as possible once you have been accepted and have deposited.
Your housing application cannot be reviewed until you have been accepted and deposited. Once all housing spaces have been assigned, the Coordinator of Housing will begin a waiting list for rooms. There are also apartments available to students throughout the Roanoke Valley. Whether students live on-campus or off-campus it is recommended that you carry rental insurance.

Off-Campus Housing

Many of our students opt to live off campus, and Roanoke offers many suitable housing environments, from quaint downtown studio apartments, to single family residences. The Roanoke rental market usually has a plentiful supply of properties.

Please ask your property manager lots of questions and choose your temporary home wisely. Ask your property manager or the housing coordinator at the college for more information on the local utility companies. These companies will vary dependent upon where you decide to reside.
