JCHS Scholarly Development Internal Grant Program
The purpose of the JCHS Scholarly Development Internal Grant Program is to enrich the academic environment of JCHS by providing faculty with the financial support for research or scholarly activities. These activities include research projects, improving student outcomes and/or community partnerships.
All full or regular part-time (minimum of 24 hrs per week) JCHS faculty are eligible.
Applications Deadlines: September 15th, November 15th, January 15th and April 15th.

JCHS Faculty Professional Travel Award Program
The purpose of the JCHS Faculty Professional Travel Award Program provides faculty with the financial support for travel to present a refereed research-related or scholarly paper or poster at a conference or meeting of recognized scholarly societies.
Review Criteria:
All full or regular part-time (minimum of 24 hrs per week) JCHS faculty are eligible.
Applications Deadlines: September 15th, November 15th, January 15th and April 15th.

JCHS and Carilion Offices of Sponsored Projects Offer Funding Listserv
The JCHS and Carilion Clinic Offices of Sponsored Projects (OSPs) have joined together to offer upcoming funding news to both College and Clinic faculty through the Carilion OSP's listserv. Highlights of this new effort include:

Funding announcements grouped by area of interest (i.e., Nursing, Health Disparities, Science and Technology, etc.) with in-document hyperlinks to announcements within each interest area;

Clear information on funding agencies, application deadlines, award mechanisms, award ranges and availability of multi-year funding;

Links to full announcements;

News and updates from funding agencies regarding research, form changes and submission guidelines.
