...and Get a Chance to Win a P. Buckley Moss Print!

This fall, several members of the JCHS nursing faculty and seven B.S.N. nursing students will travel on a medical mission trip to Honduras, hosting medical clinics for 2,000 to 2,500 children, women and men. For some of the people they will see, this will be their only chance to see healthcare professionals all year.

Now, YOU can help the team prepare for their trip and have the chance to win a terrific prize!

Donations are being taken to help support the trip. A name will be randomly drawn from those who donate to win the framed P. Buckley Moss print shown above, titled "Helping Hands."

Donations begin at $2 each to have your name in the drawing once or you can donate $5 to have your name put in three times for a chance to win the print.

The drawing for the print will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in room 513 at the Reid Center. You may drop by 513 to see the print as well!

If you would like to make a donation to this medical mission trip, but do not want to participate in the drawing for the print, please mail donations to Jefferson College of health Sciences Nursing department, c/o Linda Rickabaugh, 920 S. Jefferson St., P.O. Box 13186, Roanoke, VA  24031-3186. Or, you may drop off donations in Room 513 at the Reid Center.

IN ADDITION - donations are needed of vitamins—children's, adult's and prenatal's, chewable calcium tablets (like TUMS) and Tylenol and Ibuprofen.
