Distance Learning Library Services provides library research support to distance education students and faculty at the Jefferson College of Health Sciences. Most commonly, this support comes in the form of assisting users in selecting databases appropriate for their area of research and helping users to develop effective search strategies for locating full text information to be cited in term papers or other research projects.
Our objective is to provide library support to distance education students and faculty that is as close as possible to the level of service that is provided to on-campus programs. Each distance learning course offered online by the College will include a navigation button that leads directly to the Distance Learning Library Services site in Blackboard. Complete contact information and instructions for utilizing the service are listed there.
