Testing Hours
The ETC testing hours change every semester. Click here to see this semester’s testing hours. The current testing hours can also be found in the following locations:

  • Posted on the ETC door.
  • Posted under “ETC” in Student Central in Blackboard.
Tests are administered in the ETC during the above specified hours. Currently, the ETC primarily proctors electronic tests.

Typically, instructors or program directors notify students if they need to go to the ETC for proctored testing. The instructors also determine specific requirements related to testing. Please read your course information carefully to see if your course requires such tests.

On-Campus Testing Policy
Students using the testing services should review the On-Campus Testing Policy prior to taking their first test each semester.

Proctored Testing for Distance Learning Students
Some Distance Learning courses may require students to come to campus for proctored tests. First, students should check their course in Blackboard to see if it requires proctored testing.

If a course requires proctored testing in the ETC and the student is unable to travel to campus to take the tests that are scheduled on campus, the student may need to request an off-campus proctor.

The student should review the Test Proctor Information for Distance Learning Students packet to find out more about requesting an off-campus proctor (see the link below). If the student qualifies for an off-campus proctor, then he/she should complete the Off-Campus Proctor Request Form below and submit it to the Educational Technology Center. If you have any questions, contact the Educational Testing Center.

The above information packet and form can also be found under the “For Distance Learning Students” folder under the ETC portion of Student Central. You may also obtain this packet and form by visiting the Educational Technology Center office.
