Jefferson College of Health Sciences is thankful to the United States Department of Justice and the Office on Violence Against Women for providing us grant funding for the program, “To Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus.”
This funding has allowed JCHS to form The VOICE (Violence Can End) Prevention Task Force, a Coordinated Community Response Team. The partners of the task force work together to provide comprehensive victim services, to enforce policies around VAW issues, to educate future healthcare providers on how to appropriately respond to VAW cases, and to raise awareness, especially around bystander approaches to ending violence.
