The JCHS Physician Assistant (PA) Program is hosting an event on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 to raise awareness about the PA profession and to celebrate National PA Day, an annual event that takes place in October to commemorate the anniversary of the first graduating PA class at Duke University in 1967.
EVERYONE is welcome to attend the celebration!
There will be a cornhole tournament, t-shirts and koozies for sale, as well as food and drink specials at Fork in the City. The festivities will take place from 5 to 10 p.m.—but that doesn’t mean you have to leave at 10! All JCHS students, faculty and staff are encouraged to come out and show support for the PA profession and your local PA’s. JCHS students are selling merchandise to raise money for their class and donations are welcome as well!
Below is a list of activities taking place in celebration of PA Day. All events will be at Fork in the City, 551 Marshall Avenue, in Roanoke, VA 24016.
