Dan F. Kepner, M.A. Adjunct Faculty A native of Roanoke, Dan Kepner earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Carson-Newman College and a Master’s degree in English from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. More recently, he earned his Virginia Postgraduate Professional Teaching License from the University of Virginia in 2007.
Dan has taught college English for Virginia Western Community College, Bluefield College, and ECPI College of Technology. In 2003, he taught the pilot class for Jefferson College of Health Sciences, ENG 325, Communications in Professional Practice. This class was designed as the first of its kind for the college and combined the use of upper level writing skills with multimedia presentation as the course capstone project. Currently, he teaches English at Ferrum College.
He and his family reside in Roanoke City where he divides his spare time between mountain biking, restorations of old Porsche sports cars, communing with their many animals.
