Patrick McCarthy, M.D. is the Medical Director for the Physician Assistant Program at JCHS. He is the course instructor for Clinical Diagnostics and teaches in areas of interest in Clinical Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from LaSalle University and an M.D. from George Washington University Medical Center. Dr. McCarthy completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology at Washington Hospital Center. He is board certified in both internal medicine and hematology. Dr. McCarthy worked at the Salem Veteran's Affairs Hospital in the Hematology/Oncology Department.
