Joan Reese, a graduate of Saybrook University, CA, holds a Ph.D. in Human Science with a concentration in Consciousness and Spirituality and graduate certifications in Creativity Studies and in Expressive Arts for Healing and Social Change – a Person-Centered Approach. Her focus has been on strategies that individuals can intentionally use to develop intuitive-creative intelligence and incorporate intuitive-creativity into their decision making so as to move beyond impasses in their lives, to realize their unique potentialities, to transform their personalities, and to evolve aware consciousness. Her interest in integrating intuitive-creativity into decision making is linked to prior personal and professional experiences, including providing seminars and coaching individuals tackling complex significant issues such as making major life transitions; practicing law for over 20 years; mediating complex private disputes and court cases; and teaching business law, alternative dispute systems, and conflict management systems at the graduate level and critical thinking, ethics, and psychology at the undergraduate level. She began her professional life in secondary education teaching grammar, composition, and literature.
