Stuart Tousman, Ph.D. was born in Edison, New Jersey and earned his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 1985. He earned his Master's and Ph.D. at SUNY-Binghamton in upstate NY in 1991. From 1991-2007 he was a Professor of Psychology at Rockford College in Illinois. Dr. Tousman loves teaching interactive, student-centered classes. His teaching expertise is in health psychology, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, research and statistics. His research is in the field of health psychology where he studies behavioral issues in regards to asthma self-management. He is involved in local, state and national asthma organizations and often presents his research findings at these venues.
