| Description: | The Jefferson College of Health Sciences (JCHS) Alumni Association will continue its Distinguished Speaker Series with Janet Crawford, M.H.A., M.B.A., P.C.C., owner of "Extra Ordinary Living - Embracing Sustainable Change." Ms. Crawford is also a professional coach, motivational speaker and author.
Ms. Crawford will present: What is Your Courage Quotient?

At this exciting event, Ms. Crawford will help participants expand beyond their comfort zones, allowing them to work through their fears to realize their dreams, leading to more fulfilling and rich lives.
Ms. Crawford’s experience is rooted in a strong academic foundation. With a B.A. from Baylor University and an M.H.A. and M.B.A. from University of Missouri – Columbia, she had a successful and rewarding 20-year career in healthcare leadership positions working for Carilion Clinic and HCA.
Honoring her passion for optimizing human potential, Ms. Crawford took the entrepreneurial leap in 2004 to begin a career as an executive coach, motivational speaker and author. Leveraging her education, experience and professional connections, she has established herself as a go-to coach, keynote speaker and inspirational writer.
Ms. Crawford is a 2009 Recipient of the Roanoke YWCA's Women of Achievement Human Relations Award. She has worked with many local businesses including Carilion Clinic, Breast Care Specialists of the Blue Ridge, Virginia Healthcare Foundation, Virginia Association of Free Clinics, Physicians to Women, Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Social Work, Medical Staff Services Professionals, Warm Hearth Village, The Roanoke Rescue Mission, Hometown Bank and many more. |
