On behalf of Jefferson College of Health Sciences graduate faculty, welcome to the Graduate Program Admissions web site. The graduate program was initiated in fall 2005 and our first class will graduate in May 2007, an exciting time in our history and our development. At this time, we offer a graduate degree in nursing with tracks in Education and Administration. Please refer to the nursing web site for specific information about this program. We look forward to working with you as you pursue your graduate degree. This is an exciting time for us as we initiate a dynamic and challenging graduate program, the master of science in nursing, designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare practitioners.

| Admissions Process |
| The application process allows the applicant to manage the collection and submission of all supporting documentation required for application to the Graduate Program. In this way, the applicant is assured that the application is complete (with the exception of test scores). The first review of student applications will occur at the end of February. | Admission Requirements |

A completed application for the Master's of Science in Nursing must include the following components (all forms can be downloaded from the MSN section of the website by clicking here :
- Non-refundable application fee, payable to Jefferson College of Health Sciences. The fee should be submitted in check or money order form.
- Completed, signed application form
- Completed recommendation forms from three individuals who are knowledgeable regarding your suitability for graduate work
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Official scores from the Miller Analogies Test (official GRE scores may be substituted)
- JCHS is a MAT test site.

- The testing fee is $60.00

Completion of NSG 490, Contemporary Nursing Issues and Theory with a B or better (This course is offered at JCHS in the summer session. It provides the student with knowledge of nursing theory and other concepts that are central to the discipline of nursing).

Completion of a college level research course with a C or better. (The student may complete NSG 410 Nursing Research with a C or better; offered at JCHS in the summer session). | | | |
