First Load of Supplies for Flood Relief Drive Packed Up

Physician Assistant (PA) and Occupational Therapy students at Jefferson College of Health Sciences are hosting a community-wide Flood Relief Drive with all donations benefiting victims of the recent devastating storm and flash flooding in West Virginia.

As part of this effort, the Physician Assistant Class of 2016 voted to give $500 in supplies for the drive. On Friday, July 1, 2016, students, faculty and staff working on the drive packed the first load of supplies that will be taken to the affected area. 

Donations for this drive are still being accepted through July 8 in the third floor lobby are at Jefferson College, located within Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital at 101 Elm.
