Cardio-pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist Design, administer and supervise exercise testing and training for people who have had a heart-related or pulmonary-related condition, attack or disease Undergraduate degree usually required, Master's degree preferred and generally enhances employment opportunities as well as pay ACSM-HFI, ACSM-ES, CHES will enhance employment opportunities Hospital cardiac rehabilitation programs, clinics and services.
Medical doctor or physician   Diagnose and treat illness, injury, and any other limitation that may reduce a person's quality of life. Medical doctorate (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) National Examination required to practice Hospitals, clinics, outreach services, general health facilities, colleges, private practices
Physical Therapist (PT)   Diagnose, treat and prevent injuries and diseases and enhance physical health and functional ability. Master's degree required, doctoral degree now preferred. National Examination required to practice Hospital in-patient and out-patient clinics, home-health care, sports rehabilitation clinics, general health facilities
Physician's Assistant (PA)   Diagnostic and therapeutic medical services to be provided under the care of a physician.
