Dr. Janet Phillips received her Doctor of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the State of New York. Janet has over 25 years of experience in health administration. She joined Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2006.She has also worked as a registered nurse in healthcare administration, obstetrics, med/surg nursing, and long term care. Janet holds certification as a healthcare quality professional from the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is certified in healthcare management. Her most recent research interest is the evaluation of patient satisfaction in primary healthcare using the Medical Home Model.
