Dr. Kimberly Wilson is Director of the Accelerated BSN Program and an Assistant Professor. Dr. Wilson has worked as a critical care nurse, infusion nurse, community health nurse and geriatric nurse. Prior to accepting a position at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, she was the director of a student health center at a local university. She has taught in both the classroom and clinical settings primarily on medical-surgical, critical care and geriatric units, as well continuing to practice nursing with geriatric patients. Dr. Wilson’s research for her doctoral thesis consisted of looking at the relationship between faculty mentoring and job satisfaction, while her future research interest includes enhancing the student clinical experience to increase interest in working with the geriatric population.
