Mr. Mark A. Lambert was promoted to Senior Consultant for Communications & College Relations in June 2015. He had been the Coordinator for Communications and College Relations at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia since June 2006. In his role, he oversees all media relations for the College; develops, writes for and manages publication of the College’s magazine with a circulation of 10,000; manages all College-wide internal communications all faculty and staff, including newsletters, e-mail alerts and other resources; serves as webmaster for the College website, Intranet site and social media sites; and serves as official photographer for the College. In addition, Lambert oversees and manages the College brand. Before coming to Jefferson College, Lambert was part of the internal employee communications department for Carilion Clinic from 2003 to 2006, and a public relations specialist with the Durham County Library system in Durham, NC from 1997 to 2003. Lambert earned his Master of Science degree in Corporate & Professional Communications from Radford University in 2007, and holds two Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Communication from Emory & Henry College, from which he graduated in 1995.
