Melanie Nix, M.S.

Adjunct Faculty

Melanie Nix, has a masters degree in counseling from the University of Arkansas. She works as a resident counselor at Associates in Brief Therapy in Roanoke, VA. Her therapy interventions focus on helping clients overcome emotional problems using counseling techniques which promote more rapid recovery than traditional psychodynamic or non-directive therapy. As an adjunct, Melanie teaches several undergraduate courses at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, including Abnormal Psychology.
