Robert Hadley, Ph.D., PA-C has been a member of the JCHS PA faculty since September 2008. Dr. Hadley is the director of the Clinical Medicine course and participates in other courses. In addition to his academic interests, Dr. Hadley has practiced as a PA in internal medicine and family practice. His interests include clinical management of chronic disease, as well as issues of underserved populations’ access to health care. He serves on several national committees for the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistant Programs, and has been active in providing continuing medical education to physician assistants. Dr. Hadley came to JCHS from the University of Kentucky PA program where he was Associate Professor since 2001, and he was previously on the Medical University of South Carolina PA program faculty after graduating from that program in 1997. He earned his PhD from the University of Iowa Biology department in 1983, and pursued basic science research until moving to the physician assistant medical field.
