Ms. Tennille Curtis is an Assistant Professor of Nursing who recently moved to the Roanoke Valley from Alabama. She earned her bachelors degree in nursing from The University of Alabama. And later attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she was able to finish a Dual Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree in Primary and Acute Continuing Care in two years. In addition to teaching at Jefferson College, Tennille is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and holds the title of Director of Nursing for a local Assisted Living facility, which houses disabled Veterans and the mentally ill.
