On Wednesday, August 17, 2011, JCHS hosted the Health Focus of Southwest Virginia Board of Directors meeting on our campus at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital (CRCH).

Before the meeting, Health Focus of Southwest Virginia Board President Judy Hagadorn presented JCHS President Dr. Nathaniel L. Bishop with a check for the scholarships that Health Focus sponsors at JCHS for health career students. The funds will help 43 selected JCHS students with their education expenses during the 2011-2012 academic year.
