This fall, we welcomed our new students to campus for the first time with BLUE (Building Loyalty, Understanding, and Excellence) Week, a week-long experience that helps students new to higher education begin the transition from high school to Jefferson College. One of these activities, which took place on Thursday, August 14, 2014, was a hike from our campus at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital to the Mill Mountain Star, overlooking the beautiful Roanoke Valley. This is a group shot of our intrepid travelers when they reached the Mill Mountain overlook! Welcome to all of our new students and welcome back to the rest of the Jefferson family!
